BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO TRUSTS IN GOD

 

OH, TASTE AND SEE THAT THE LORD IS GOOD; BLESSED IS THE MAN WHO TRUSTS IN HIM! Psalms 34:8

🥗The well-known phrase, “Taste and see that the LORD is good,” is found in Chapter 34 of the Old Testament Book of Psalms. King David, known to be a man after God’s own heart, wrote many of the Psalms. Psalm 34 recounts 1 Samuel 21:10-15, which records David, on the run, acting insane to avoid being recognised..

🥗Once a boy asked his Father:"Dad what is the size of GOD?" "Then the Father looked up at the Sky and saw a Plane and asked his Son: What is the size of this Plane? The Boy replied: "it is very small. I can hardly see it". Then, the father took him to the airport and as they approached a plane, he asked: "Now, my Son, how big is this Plane?" The boy replied:"Wow dad, it's huge!" Then the father told him: "GOD's size depends on how close or far you are to HIM. The closer you are to HIM, the Greater and Greater HE will be in your life!"

🥗In our daily lives, we make mistakes, struggle with the status quo, endure unfair hardship and stretch to understand our purpose in life. When the great king wrote, “taste and see that the LORD is good,” he was expressing his utmost devotion and love for GOD, and the unexplainable depths of HIS compassion. “He is good, for he makes all those that Trust in HIM truly blessed; let us therefore be so convinced of HIS Goodness as thereby to be encouraged in the worst of times to trust him.”

🥗The LORD is good and HE wants us to make HIM a part of our life. Sometimes our blessings come to us in mysterious ways, through pain and trouble. At times like these we can see the Goodness of GOD and put our Trust in Him. When we put our Trust in the LORD, we will be closer to HIM. His desire for us is to have peace. If we will realize how much God loves us, we could experience how great and good our GOD is!!

🥗Consider the first part of this verse a warm hand extended in love—an invitation to draw close to GOD, to experience HIS Love and the Goodness surrounding HIM. He offers Protection, Direction, Peace, Forgiveness, Wisdom, and more. HE is good.

 🥗Never forget, we serve a BIG God! HE is our Strength...our Understanding...our Endurance.. our Supporter...Our Motivator...Our Guide...Our Protection.

🥗If  we give our problems to GOD, we don't have to do them all on your own. There's nothing HE can't handle!!!!

🥗 No matter if our situations or circumstances are good or bad, taking refuge in the LORD indicates we Trust HIM and we run to Him for the little things in life, the big ones, too. And sometimes, when we're going closer to GOD, during those hard situations , we truly taste and see HIS goodness the most. 

🥗In the midst of our deepest fears, He can speak peace to our heart.Go near and Taste the goodness of GOD and you will see how GOOD HE is.
