GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD

 

OH, GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD, FOR HE IS GOOD! FOR HIS MERCY ENDURES FOREVER.1 Chron 16:34

📖MY VOICE YOU SHALL HEAR IN THE MORNING, O LORD; IN THE MORNING I WILL DIRECT IT TO YOU, AND I WILL LOOK UP. Psalms 5:3

🌥️What a powerful concept. Jewish people around the world begin each day with the prayer "Modeh Ani" means "I give thanks."

🌥️As Rabbi Jonathan Sacks put it, "Even Before We Think, We Thank...It's The ROCK upon which the entire day is built.While still in bed, the day begins with opening one's heart to GOD......

🌥️The "Modeh Ani" is just the first of the Jewish morning prayers of thankfulness..

📖OH, SATISFY US EARLY WITH YOUR MERCY, THAT WE MAY REJOICE AND BE GLAD ALL OUR DAYS!Psalms 90:14

🌥️The early morning hour should be dedicated to praise: Don't the birds set us the example? Olden times, people, like  the birds, used to sing at dawn and at dusk was to thank the GOD thro' songs.

 🌥️Psalm 100, which is recited daily, A Song of Praise for the Lord’s Faithfulness to HIS People.

📖MAKE A JOYFUL SHOUT TO THE LORD, ALL YOU LANDS!SERVE THE LORD WITH GLADNESS; COME BEFORE HIS PRESENCE WITH SINGING. Psalms 100:1,2

🌥️Have you ever stopped and  wondered what GOD has done in your life that you aren't even aware of? Maybe HE healed us before we even knew we were sick... Perhaps HE saved us from a fatal car crash that never happened... In heart of heart we knew, GOD has protected us many times than we can count, or unaware that we were even in danger.

🌥️Always, take a moment to thank GOD for protecting us. HE is ALWAYS watching over us, even when we don't realize it. Breathe a prayer of thanks for the countless ways HE'S been good to us. What an awesome GOD we serve!

 🌥️When we find ourselves overwhelmed with burdens and worried about tomorrow, we can praise GOD for who HE is and HIS promise to Never Leave Us Or Forsake Us.

📖GIVE THANKS TO THE LORD AND PROCLAIM HIS GREATNESS. LET THE WHOLE WORLD KNOW WHAT HE HAS DONE. Psalm 105:1
